Our villas have been chosen and selected, in Italy, for truly dream weddings.
In Le Marche, Villa Teloni, a noble residence that belonged to the Coletti family in the nineteenth century, will welcome you. Its progenitor was an illustrious scholar in economic, statistical, agricultural and social subjects as well as author of more than a hundred scientific essays. Villa Teloni in 1996, after a long period of abandonment, was purchased by the entrepreneur Sandro Teloni who, after making it the family residence, transformed it, through two long and laborious restorations entrusted to the architect Patrizia Ravegnati, in a charming residence of charm able to accommodate up to fifty people. Equipped with a private internal chapel, it hosts wedding events in the ancient lemon house – next to the pool – in the large park with old trees and in other areas to be chosen according to the needs of the spouses.
Near the city of Orvieto, then, there is a villa where Pope Pius IX loved to spend his summer holidays in the 1800s. It is Villa degli Affreschi, a noble patrician residence with large rooms, suggestive rooms with painted walls and ceilings, cellars dug out of the tuff, an immense secular park and a church. Perfectly preserved is the bedroom once used by Pope Pius IX: here, if you wish, you can live your wedding night.
Among the green hills that surround the medieval city of Gubbio, set like a diamond in the green heart of Italy, the enchanting Villa La Contessa, an ideal place to relax but also to live the most beautiful day of your life. The rustic exterior, with exposed stones and wooden details, differs from the refined and elegant interiors in Baroque style enriched by frescoed vaulted ceilings, sculptures and references to a pleasant glimpse of the past. The relaxation areas leave space for some modern touches, for a comfortable and relaxing environment. The lush outdoor garden is stunning and ready to host fairytale ceremonies.
In the vicinity of the famous Etruscan city of Cortona stands Villa Margherita, a charming farmhouse recently renovated furnished according to the Tuscan country tradition. A different way to live the yes day not far from the medieval villages of Castiglione Fiorentino and Lucignano and the Castle of Montecchio Vesponi.
In the wonderful Umbria region there is even a small village completely available for those who want to join in marriage. It’s about Villa Borgo Pietra Antica.
Period residence with a unique charm, this location has an enchanting run-up of spaces where you can get lost and find yourself together: the tower, the priest’s house, the house of Venus, the farmer’s house, the chestnut house and the oven. For a thousand and one night experience, Villa Borgo Pietra Antica keeps intact in every corner the charisma of a bygone era but reborn. The village is colored by lemons and hydrangeas and protected by the small bell tower and has a pleasant swimming pool in a panoramic position. At night the lights of lanterns and torches illuminate the magical atmosphere of this small fairytale place.
If you are looking for a truly unique location, Homelike Villas can also suggest Castello degli Arcieri. Immersed in an uncontaminated landscape, rich in woods, meadows and waters, this unique place founds its history in the Middle Ages when it was the fulcrum of the defense of the Municipality of Gubbio against Perugia. It was not conquered even by the Montefeltro family, who however destroyed its mill, which was later rebuilt and still exists. Only in 1431 did it pass to the Urbino family. Here Federico da Montefeltro established his favorite hunting lodge. It is said that the Duke launched himself in the hunt for fallow deer and wild boars that still populate the property. From 1830 the property passed to the family that still owns the residence and that has a direct descent from Napoleon.
The property is immersed in a large park where there are roe deer, fallow deer, pheasants, wild boars and all kinds of animals typical of the area, and part of a hunting game consortium. The huge outdoor garden, which frames the castle, and the beautiful swimming pool will be ready to welcome you to make you live a truly fairytale wedding ceremony.
